Natyakabya is a theater and art group founded by a bunch of like minded young theater and art lovers with a vision to make a breakthrough in the world of performing arts and theater. We are not a commercial theater group but we are a devoted group of theater, art and literature lovers willing to learn, find and make new avenues in the world of performing arts with an amalgamation of drama, literature, latest technologies and innovative thoughts. Goutom Chottopadhyay has been working for three decades. He was attached with Professional Board Theatre as well as many group theatre and drama organization. Now he is president & director of ‘Natyakabya’. He has directed more than 60plays and acted in more than 65 dramas and still continues. He has been honoured with the titel ‘Natya Ratna’ and has directed many plays that have won the prize in many different competitions. For the last fifteen years he has been working with numerous Bengali Films & TV serials. Some of eminent personalities who have worked with him are- Soumitra Chatterjee, Lily Chakraborty, Monoj Mitra, Dipankar Dey, Victor Banerjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Kaushik Ganguly. He also been a member of West Bengal Motion Picture Artist’s Forum & Silpi Samsad for nearly fifteen years.
